BUHAY AMERICA TIPS:
Do Not Call List

Hang up on annoying, unwelcome telemarketing calls:
Register your phone number to the DoNotCall.gov web site.

The National Do Not Call Registry is managed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), America's consumer protection agency. The website states that:

"The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. Your registration will be effective for five years."

If you're one of the early birds who signed up for this nifty public service back in 2003, please be informed that your registration is about to expire and you should think about renewing your registration.
