As of Feb. 24, five women have been viciously attacked on separate occasions by a still unidentified man in Riverside, Calif., according to this report.
The assailant has the same scary modus operandi: Without uttering a single word, he approaches female victims and beats them up with a metal bar.
The Riverside Police Department has asked for the public's help in identifying the man. The crimes occurred in the city's Eastside near Iowa Avenue and Spruce Street.
Per report, the attacks were unprovoked and police officials said robbery or sexual assault did not appear to be the motive. The victims have been all races and ages.
